Showcase Of Remodeled Homes This Weekend In SF

You can see what's hot in home remodeling this weekend at the eleventh annual Showcase of Remodeled Homes.

With eleven different homes to check out, there's plenty to see.

Some trends include kitchen expansions and putting a sun room where a deck used to stand.

Organizers say the best part of the showcase is showing people all the possibilities of home remodeling.

“A lot of times people walk in and they say, 'Well I never would have thought about putting painted and stained cabinets together before or I've heard about if but it surely didn't look like a good idea to me. Now I can see it here and in three-dimensions and I can really appreciate what it looks like in the real world,’” Kriens Construction President Arthur Kriens said.

The Showcase of Remodeled Homes continues Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. It costs $5 to get in. You can buy tickets at any of the featured homes.
