Shoppers Say Black Friday Is Calm

Shoppers Say Black Friday Is Calm

Shoppers who have grown accustomed to Black Friday chaos, were surprised to find calm when the arrived at the stores Friday morning.

The aisles of the Sioux Falls east side Target looked calm by five in the morning on Friday.  The line that stretched around the store the night before had turned to a calm start to Black Friday.  Shoppers who waited to score their deals were happy to see the crowds had gone away.

“We've gotten trampled before.  People bang our car doors with their car door, long lines, and it looks like today we can get what we want and not have to wait in line too long,” Nicole Thedens

More shoppers started to trickle back into KELOLAND stores later in the morning hours.
