Authorities released more information about death of a Sioux Falls teenager at a news conference Friday afternoon.
Minnehaha County Sheriff Mike Milstead says Michael Stevens,19, was shot three times with a 20-gauge shotgun using a slug for deer hunting, but rarely used in South Dakota.
Stevens' body was found in a car at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds on Monday. Authorities believed he may have been there for several days.
His family had reported him missing on New Year's Day.
