With a two-page ballot, there are plenty of reasons to go to a voting center on Tuesday. For Mary Groth, it's the ballot issues, specifically the pool at Spellerberg Park.
"I have listened to both sides of the argument on the pool issue, and I feel like both sides have valid reasons for what they are saying about it," Groth said.
Jeff Maschino is paying close attention to the re-zoning for a new Walmart store.
"Where it's presently located, if it's voted in, it's a really nice area of Sioux Falls, so I think they need to go down the road a little bit," Maschino said.
There's also the race for mayor.
"I just think that at this point, we need a change. I think the present mayor is a good mayor, however, I think we just need a change in the direction we're going in Sioux Falls," Maschino said.
"I think both the guys that are running for mayor are good. I think the way Sioux Falls has been going, and if you're mayor, you get credit even if it was something that somebody else started a long time ago," Groth said.
Sometimes it's just not about the issues at all. Sometimes it's just about going out to vote and doing your civic duty.
"The issues don't really bother me. The civic duty is more a part of it, as far as the Mayoral candidates and what not," voter Ryan Tracy said.
