Sioux Falls citizens will select four city council members and two school board members Tuesday.
The old "polling place" system is being replaced with what city officials are calling voting centers. Citizens can go to any one of the 12 centers across Sioux Falls and vote at whichever one is most convenient for them.
The technology that's letting this happen is called E-Poll books. They have a database of every registered voter in Sioux Falls. Voters simply give the poll workers their drivers license to scan and pull up their information. They then get the ballot for their district to cast their vote.
Voting centers open at 7 a.m.
