SF Voters Cast Their Ballots On Four Important Issues
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

There were four issues the voters of Sioux Falls had to decide on on the ballot.

The first issue was the rezoning of property at 85th Street and Minnesota Avenue from agricultural to commercial. The rezoning would allow for a Walmart to be built.  The voters decided 65 percent to 35 percent in favor of the rezoning.

The second issue was whether to build an outdoor pool at Spellerberg Park. 70 percent voted no on the issue with 30 percent wanting to build a new outdoor pool.

The third issue was regarding the use of snow gates on city plows. 76 percent voted in favor of snow gates with 24 percent voting no on the use of snow gates.

The final issue was on Shape Places, which creates four different classifications of commercial zoning that determine the size of any commercial structure.  65 percent approved the measure with 35 percent voting against it.
