Sioux Falls Police are investigating another armed robbery in the city. This is the fifth in just over a week.
This time, two men robbed the Kum & Go on East 26th Street, just before 6 a.m. Tuesday. Police say one of the suspects showed a black semi-automatic hand gun to the clerk, pulled out a black bag and made the clerk put money in it. Both suspects then took off with the money, going out the front doors and running South on Alpine Avenue.
The suspect who showed the gun and demanded the money is described as a white male, 5'5", with an average build. He was wearing a dark blue or black coat with the hood up. Witnesses say the hood appeared to be lined with white wool. He was also wearing dark-colored pants, black tennis shoes and had a dark blue bandana covering his face.
The second suspect is also a white male and about 170 pounds. Witnesses say he was wearing a blue and black plaid coat, white pants, a white cap and black shoes. He also had a blue sweatshirt wrapped around his neck covering his face.
