SF City Council Receives Events Center Update

July 22, 2014, 3:25 PM by Jared Ransom

SF City Council Receives Events Center Update
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

The first performance inside the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center is quickly approaching.  Project managers are putting finishing touches on the building, both inside and out.

One of the first signs put up at the site of the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center said "Coming in Fall 2014," and the crews have kept to that timeline. With concerts, sporting events and many other activities fitting inside the building, Sioux Falls City Council members are making sure that the project is not only being built properly, but within a budget as well.

The council members get a bi-monthly project update on topics like construction, signage, seating and furniture, and even landscaping. They want to know as much as possible leading up to the first moments the building is open to the public.

One question some council members are hoping to get answered concerns noticeable rippling on the outside of the building and what's being done to address the problem.
