SF Airport Officials Make Plans To Build Hotel

The Sioux Falls Airport has undergone major renovations over the past few years and now there's talk of doing even more.

Airport officials have a plan in place to make room for a hotel on the north end.

Flyers we talked with say an onsite hotel would be a good idea, especially for people who have long distances to drive to get to Sioux Falls.

“We usually have early morning flights to take our kids back to college and we are usually here at 5 o'clock in the morning,” traveler Mindy Butman said.

Officials say it would cost the airport about $450,000 to get the site ready for a potential developer.
