Trial dates have been set for a South Dakota father and son accused of sexually abusing girls at a home day care.
Fred Sylaart's trial on charges of sexual contact with a child under 16 years old is scheduled for June 12-14. His 18-year-old son, Jordan, is to stand trial May 14-16 on rape charges.
Jordan Sylaart was under 18 at the time of the alleged crimes. He has been charged in adult court but his attorney is seeking to have the case transferred to juvenile court. A judge will rule later.
Authorities say the day care in Cavour was operated by Fred Sylaart's wife.
