Senator Al Franken wants answers about what caused this past winter's propane crisis.
Franken has pushed the Senate Energy Committee to investigate the propane shortages, which drove up prices and hurt tens of thousands of families, farmers, and businesses in KELOLAND.
One woman was even found dead because her propane tank was empty on a below zero night.
"The price of propane went from under $2 a gallon, to over $6 a gallon in some places. There was a confluence of events that caused this. Frankly, I don't want this to ever happen again," Franken said.
The hearing is set for tomorrow.
