South Dakota Highway Patrol troopers answering a call for a semi-truck in the ditch ended up making a drunk driving arrest.
It happened New Year's Day on Interstate 29, about ten miles south of the Canton exit.
Troopers say the tractor-trailer drifted into the median. The driver overcorrected and went into the ditch.
When troopers arrived they learned the truck driver had been drinking.
The truck was eventually towed out of the ditch.
