Just hours before the election South Dakota's Secretary of State is sending out a warning to voters.
A group called "Every Vote Counts," which is a Political Action Committee chaired by South Dakota Democratic Party Chairman Ben Nesselhuf, sent out a mailer reminding people where to cast a ballot with incorrect information.
In at least three South Dakota counties, Pennington, Stanley, and Union, the locations of the polling places weren't correct.
The Secretary of State's office is calling voters who may have received the wrong information.
The South Dakota Democratic Party says they are also doing ‘everything possible’ to contact recipients of the mailings.
The South Dakota Republican Party is asking for the Democratic Party to turn over it’s mailing list.
"There are too many unanswered questions to believe this was a simple oversight," Republican Party Executive Director Tony Post said in a statement Monday afternoon.
"We are asking Mr. Nesselhuf to turn over the mailing lists he used to the Attorney General so that he can verify that no Republican or independent voters were intentionally misled.”
The best thing you can do is go online and check ahead.
