The body of 28-year-old Lyle Eagle Tail has been recovered from the Big Sioux River at Falls Park.
Rescue crews found the body shortly before 2 p.m. from the boat teams searching the water. He was found in an area that had been previously searched about 12 feet under the water on the east bank about 100 feet from the dam.
A team of around 45 personnel assisted with the search. Also teams from Pierre and Okoboji were on hand to assist with the search.
Eagle Tail was one of two people who tried to save six-year-old Garrett Wallace after he fell into the Big Sioux River at Falls Park. The other person was Wallace's sister, Madison. Garrett Wallace emerged from the river and is fine.
Officials found the body of Madison Wallace Friday at 2 p.m.
