Interested buyers will have another opportunity to purchase 40 acres of land in the Black Hills next month.
The Pennington County Board of Commissioners decided Friday to hold a second auction for the land west of Deerfield Lake on Dec. 4 at the Pennington County Courthouse.
An auction for the land earlier this month was declared a "no sale" after the man who made the winning bid realized he could not afford the price tag. He had made the winning bid of $2,550 thinking it was for the whole parcel. But it was actually per acre.
