Second Arrest In Convenience Store Robbery

SIOUX FALLS, SD -
Sioux Falls police have arrested a second suspect in the attempted robbery at Cubby's convenience store.
Two officers watching Cubby's from across the street spotted the two suspects go into the store around three o'clock Thursday morning. Police pulled into the convenience store parking lot as the suspects demanded money from the clerk.
Police caught 19-year-old Corbin James Stead as he tried running away. Police also arrested a 17-year-old boy at a nearby home later in the morning.
Investigators think the pair may be behind most, if not all four Cubby's holdups in the past month.
"We're glad we made an arrest on this, but we still have a lot of work to do to try to figure out how many of these other robberies at Cubby's that they're responsible for," Sioux Falls Police Public Information Officer Sam Clemens said.
Each suspect is expected to be charged with robbery.
