Searching For Snow

By the end of November, many in KELOLAND should have had at least six inches of snow. That hasn't been the case this November as many locations are well below that.

The hit of snow over the past weekend has allowed areas in western and southwestern KELOLAND to inch closer to where we should be, but that snow will soon be gone as temperatures soar well above average through the weekend.

A look around the upper plains shows North Dakota has had the most snow so far with 16 inches in Williston. Bismarck has had 10.5 inches and Fargo is at 8.4 inches.

But, the surge of warm air this weekend will cause the snow depth to retreat north as it melts. We really don't see much of a change in the weather until the second full week of December, that's when we might be able to add to our snow totals.
