Sanborn County authorities say a 30-year-old Woonsocket woman has been missing for more than a month and they're hoping to talk to her husband about the disappearance.
Rachel Cyriacks was last seen working at a temp job at Performance Pet Products in Mitchell on November 11. Her parents reported her missing Monday.
Her last social media activity was on November 12 when she posted a few pictures on Facebook.
But the Sanborn County Sheriff's Office says right now, they are trying to track down Cyriacks' husband, Bradley Cyriacks, to question him about the disappearance of his wife.
Rachel Cyriacks filed a protection order against him back in August. The protection order said Bradley Cyriacks was being abusive because the couple was in the middle of a divorce he didn't want.
Rachel wrote in the protection order that he came to her Woonsocket home in August, pulled her hair, hit her in the face and threatened her with a knife.
She goes on to write, 'Domestic abuse has been an issue in the past. Cops can testify to this. I will be harmed physically and mentally.'
The protection order was dismissed in September when Rachel failed to show up for a court hearing.
Now investigators are trying to figure out where she is after family members said they are concerned that they haven't heard from her in more than a month.
Brad Cyriacks is not a suspect in the disappearance; authorities just want to talk with him. Court documents show that Brad Cyriacks also filed a protection order against his wife back in 2002, saying that the two couldn't get along and would always fight in front of their kids. The case was eventually terminated.
Brad then filed for divorce in 2004, saying the two had irreconcilable differences and adultery was occurring in the relationship, but the divorce never happened because the case went inactive and expired.
