The Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 60-year-old man who is wanted for First Degree Rape involving an eight-year-old victim.
The Sheriff’s Office is searching for Albert Wayne Armentrout because he has a warrant for his arrest, but the investigation originated by Sioux Falls Police. Investigators say he has family in the area and believe that someone may be helping hide him from law enforcement. They believe he remains in the Sioux Falls area.
Police say the victim is a relative of a friend of Armentrout's. Armentrout is 6'1" and weighs 200 pounds. He has brown eyes and gray hair.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding Armentrout, who goes by both the name Albert and Wayne.
