There's a search going on for a parolee who left the minimum-security unit of the Jameson Annex without authorization Monday morning.
Jarod Shoemaker was assigned to the Community Transition Program at Unit C. He was serving time for escape out of Yankton County and possession of a weapon by an inmate out of Davison County.
The 31-year-old is a white male with brown hair and green eyes. He is 6'1" and weighs approximately 190 pounds.
You are asked to call law enforcement if you see Shoemaker.
