Search For Man Who Robbed Brookings Bank
BROOKINGS, SD - The Brookings Police Department is looking for a man who robbed a bank Monday afternoon.

Just before 12:30 p.m., a white man entered the Dakotaland Federal Credit Union on 6th Street and gave the teller a note, demanding money. The note indicated the man had a gun, but no witnesses ever saw it. The man got away with cash and was last seen walking north away from the bank.

The man is described as 40-50 years old and 5'10" - 6'0" tall. He was wearing a black down-filled coat, blue and white checkered button down collared shirt and black stocking hat. He may be driving a dark-colored, late 1990s to early 2000s Cadillac Deville. This Cadillac may be dark green in color and had light colored trim.

If you have information about the robbery, you are asked to contact the Brookings Police Department at 605-692-2113. You can also submit an anonymous tip by contacting Brookings Area Crime Stoppers at 692-STOP(7867) or at the Brookings Area Crime Stoppers website.
