BROOKINGS, SD -
The Brookings Police Department is looking for a man who robbed a bank Monday afternoon.
Just before 12:30 p.m., a white man entered the Dakotaland Federal Credit Union on 6th Street and gave the teller a note, demanding money. The note indicated the man had a gun, but no witnesses ever saw it. The man got away with cash and was last seen walking north away from the bank.
The man is described as 40-50 years old and 5'10" - 6'0" tall. He was wearing a black down-filled coat, blue and white checkered button down collared shirt and black stocking hat. He may be driving a dark-colored, late 1990s to early 2000s Cadillac Deville. This Cadillac may be dark green in color and had light colored trim.
