The SDSU women will play South Carolina in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Jackrabbits are a 13 seed, while South Carolina is a 4 seed. The two teams will meet on Saturday in Boulder, Colorado.
The Jackrabbits locked up a trip to the Big Dance by winning the Summit League Tournament. They beat the University of South Dakota in the Championship game, 56 to 53.
This is the team's fifth-straight trip to the NCAA tournament. Coach Aaron Johnston says the team is excited to go to Colorado, as its the closest to home they've played in the tournament.
Tickets go on-sale Tuesday, March 19, at 9 a.m. To order tickets, stop by the Jackrabbit Ticket Office or call 1-866-GoJacks (465-2257). SDSU will not have the tickets until after arrival in the assigned city/venue. People who buy tickets will pick them up at South Dakota State's assigned and labeled ticket window at the venue on the first competition day, prior to SDSU's session. If the team advances to the second round, your credit card will be automatically charged for the same number of tickets for the second round. Orders cannot be changed from round to round.
All orders must be received by noon Wednesday, March 20.
