SDSU Men To Play Baylor
BROOKINGS, SD -

The South Dakota State Men's basketball team will play Baylor in the NCAA tournament.

The Jacks are the 14 seed in the South Region.  They will take on Baylor in Albuquerque on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. CDT.  This is the team's first time in the NCAA Division One Tournament.  Both teams finished the season at 27-7.

SDSU fans packed Frost Arena in Brookings Sunday afternoon to support the team as they waited to find out where Jacks would be playing.

While the men's team knows where it is going, the SDSU women's team won't know its matchup until Monday evening.  You can follow along as both teams play in the NCAA Tournament on a special KELOLAND Sports SDSU page.  Plus, check out the tournament brackets and play the March Mayhem contest.

KELOLAND's Jim Madalinsky spoke with SDSU Head Coach Scott Nagy shortly after the matchup was announced.  Click on the attached video to watch that interview.

Hear from SDSU players Griffan Callahan and Nate Wolters by watching the video below.
