SDSU Dominates Western Illinois In Tournament Game
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

The SDSU men tipped off their Summit League Tournament defeating the Western Illinois Leathernecks 71-50.

The game started off quickly for the Leathernecks as they jumped out to an 11-5 lead early in the first half. The Jackrabbits settled down and began to claw their way back into the game eventually taking the lead. The teams traded shots in the low scoring first half; with SDSU taking a 26-23 lead into halftime.

But the second half was a completely story with the Jackrabbits dominating from the onset with SDSU going on an 18-3 run. The Jackrabbits never looked back. While both teams were under 50 percent from the field the biggest difference was the rebounding.

The Jackrabbits will face IPFW on Monday at 8:30 p.m. The Mastodons defeated IUPUI 85-47.
