SDSU Begins Weeklong Hobo Days Celebration

BROOKINGS, SD -
South Dakota State University begins its weeklong 99th Hobo Day celebrations starting on Sunday.
It would be the 100th consecutive celebration if it hadn't been for 1942's festivities being canceled for World War II relief efforts.
This year's homecoming events kick off at 5:30 p.m. Sunday with a zombie walk in Hillcrest Park, and activities continue throughout the week.
The festivities culminate next Saturday with SDSU taking on Southern Illinois at Coughlin-Alumni Stadium.
