SD's Emergency Managers Gathering In Lead

The role of volunteers in disasters and quickly assessing the needs following disasters and emergencies will be a few of the topics discussed at an annual gathering of emergency managers in South Dakota.

The South Dakota Emergency Management Association will meet in Lead from Monday through Thursday next week.

The meeting is an opportunity for emergency managers from South Dakota counties and reservations and staff with the South Dakota Office of Emergency Management to learn about new developments in the field.
