SDDOT Improves ClearPath 511

SDDOT has enhanced the ClearPath 511 service on Safe Travel USA.

Now, you can select entire regions such as the Black Hills area for those travelling to Sturgis as well as individual highways.

ClearPath is a free service that provides alerts along with no travel advisories and other events. When a road closes, an automatic alert will be sent out, while No-Travel Advised or Significant Events are optional.

One can choose to receive alerts by email or text message for specific roads, days of the week, and time of day.

SDDOT 511 apps are available for free for Android and Apple smartphones.
