A woman is on trial in Chamberlain for allegedly beating to death a four-year-old boy because he wet his pants.
Twenty-three- year-old Donika Gonzales of Gann Valley has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and alternate charges in the February 2013 death of Mason Naser.
Jurors on Monday were played a recording in which Gonzales allegedly admitted to a state crime bureau agent that she had abused her boyfriend's son after becoming angry with the boy.
The trial is expected to last through the week.
