SD West Nile Season
PIERRE, SD -

There is good news in the latest numbers on West Nile Virus in South Dakota.

The total for this year's season currently stands at just 22 cases. That's less than half the number of people infected at this same time last year. Seven new cases were reported in the past week.

There have been no deaths related to the mosquito-borne virus this year.
