Organizers of what is dubbed as South Dakota's largest Super Bowl tailgate party say four former NFL players will be on hand this year for the event in Deadwood.
Rapid City native John Dutton played 14 seasons as a defensive lineman with the Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Colts. Guard Ron Hallstrom played a dozen seasons - 11 with the Green Bay Packers and one with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Defensive tackle Bob Nelson played eight seasons with the Los Angeles and Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills. Linebacker Tom Ruud played five seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills.
Sunday's citywide Super Bowl party is the third organized by the Deadwood Business Club. It raises money for the American Cancer Society.
