SD Skateboarder Struck By SUV Dies

RAPID CITY, SD -
Rapid City police say a skateboarder who was struck by a sport utility vehicle has died.
Authorities say 17-year-old Brendon Kammerer was riding in the driving lane of a city street shortly after midnight Wednesday when he was hit. He was critically injured and taken to a hospital, where he died Thursday afternoon.
The SUV driver was not immediately charged. Police say the investigation continues.
