SD Panel Looks At Legislative Summer Studies

PIERRE, SD -
The South Dakota Legislature's Executive Board is meeting to decide what topics committees will study this summer.
The board handles management issues for the Legislature. It will consider the results of a survey that asked lawmakers what topics should be studied. The panel is meeting Monday.
The Legislature did not appoint any summer study committees last year because of budget problems.
The study panels usually conduct hearings on top issues and make recommendations to the next legislative session.
