Authorities are searching for a missing boater who was thrown into the Missouri River in northern South Dakota.
Members of the Pierre Rescue Squad were dispatched early Saturday morning after a boating accident on the river in Corson County west of Mobridge.
Pierre Deputy Fire Chief Ian Paul says the accident happened about 9 p.m. Friday. He says two people were thrown from the boat. One was saved, but the other has not been found.
