SD Murder Suspect Gets Court-Appointed Lawyer

ABERDEEN, SD -
The court has appointed a lawyer for a South Dakota woman facing a murder charge.
Aberdeen attorney Bill Gerdes declined comment on the case to The Associated Press on Wednesday.
Forty-two-year-old Donise Red Water of Wakpala is accused of killing 41-year-old Vincent Village Center. He was found stabbed to death in his Mobridge apartment late last month. Authorities have said only that the two knew one another.
Red Water remains jailed without bond. She is due in court February 11.
