Authorities say a South Dakota man accused of murdering a woman in Chicago had been dating her and allegedly pushed her out of a third-floor apartment window after an argument.
Twenty-nine-year-old Daniel Neasom is fighting extradition to Illinois after his arrest last weekend in Aberdeen. Court documents indicate Neasom came to Aberdeen sometime after the July 23, 2011, death of Cynthia Barnes to live with a family member.
Court documents say Neasom told Chicago police after Barnes' death that he did not know how she fell from the window and denied being involved.
Authorities will be going through the legal process of forcing Neasom to be extradited.
