RAPID CITY, SD -
A Rapid City man has been sentenced to five years in prison for assaulting a female police officer.
Thirty-year-old Noah Holder last November pleaded guilty to aggravated assault on a police officer. Authorities say he was drunk when he struggled with Officer Kaia Carlson in the early morning hours of Oct. 23, 2010.
Holder was accused of putting a finger down Carlson's throat and holding her in a chokehold when she found him passed out in a backyard and woke him.
