SD Man Killed In 2-Vehicle Crash Near Madison

MADISON, SD -
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a Sioux Falls man has died in a two-vehicle crash near Madison.
Troopers say 50-year-old Jeffrey Keith Tanksley died at the scene shortly after noon on Thursday.
The patrol says Tanksley's vehicle collided with a car that failed to yield at an intersection. Troopers say Tanksley was thrown from the vehicle.
The patrol says the driver of the car was not injured. The driver was identified as 54-year-old Brian Dean Lowe of Madison.

Hand County authorities say the 80-year-old Pierre man who had been missing since Sunday morning was found dead.

The Hand County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Leroy Nye, who was last seen at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18.
