A South Dakota man has been indicted for attempted murder.
Attorney General Marty Jackley says 35-year-old Clinton James Brown of Presho was indicted by a Lyman County grand jury on Friday for 14 felony and three misdemeanor charges. In addition to an attempted murder charge, Brown was indicted on two aggravated kidnapping charges, domestic assault, possessing a firearm and possessing a controlled substance. He faces up to 25 years in prison and a $50,000 fine for the attempted murder charge.
The charges stem from an incident in rural Lyman County two weeks ago.
