A Fort Pierre man has been sentenced to nearly three years in federal prison for bank fraud.
Forty-year-old Wyatt Rasmussen was accused of using fraud to obtain a business line of credit from Dakotaland Federal Credit Union in Huron, then using the money for personal purposes. He was indicted in May and pleaded guilty in August.
U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says Rasmussen was sentenced to 33 months in custody, three years of supervised release and nearly $239,000 in restitution.
