A South Dakota Highway Patrol Trooper got a ticket instead of giving one on Sunday after causing a crash in Sioux Falls.
Sioux Falls police say the trooper had his lights and sirens on when he approached 41st Street and Sertoma Avenue just before 6 p.m.
The trooper swerved through a red light at the intersection, according to police, and hit a vehicle which had the green light.
No one was seriously injured.
The trooper was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
