SD Highway Patrol Awarded Money To Purchase Service Dog
PIERRE, SD -

The South Dakota Highway Patrol just received some money to help fight drug crimes.

Attorney General Marty Jackley has given the Highway Patrol $8,500 to purchase a police service dog to be used in drug investigations.

State officials say the service dog will help law enforcement in drug control and apprehension purposes.

The money was awarded out of the Drug Control Fund.
