SIOUX FALLS, SD -
The majority of shares of a Sioux Falls golf course are slated to be sold next week at an auction by the Minnehaha County sheriff.
The sale on May 26 could put the future of the Willow Run Golf Course in question because a new majority owner could redevelop the land. Sheriff Mike Milstead says the sale is an attempt to collect on a judgment against golf course owner Richard Tschetter that totals about $380,000.
Tschetter is an eye doctor with Ophthalmology Ltd. in Sioux Falls. He would not comment on the sale or judgment that was ordered in March.
