SD Game, Fish & Parks Hosts Meetings On Lake Oahe Fisheries

State officials want your input on the status of Lake Oahe's fisheries.

Game, Fish & Parks staff will be on hand to present 2013 Missouri River fisheries data and discuss regulation changes for 2014 at various meetings across the state.

"We like to keep people updated on the condition of the Oahe fishery and try and answer questions whenever possible.  These meetings will also allow us to collect valuable input from our anglers," senior fisheries biologist Mark Fincel said.

You can get involved in the conversation by attending one of these meetings:

  • January 22, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in Rapid City at the Outdoor Campus West
  • January 28, 2014 at 7 p.m. in Aberdeen at the Ramada Conference Center
  • January 29, 2014 at 7 p.m. in Sioux Falls at the Outdoor Campus East
  • February 6, 2014 at 7 p.m. in Pierre at the Izaak Walton League Clubhouse
