People went to the Downtown Sioux Falls Holiday Inn for a presentation by the South Dakota Budget and Policy Project about Medicaid on Saturday.
The director says they hit on the complicated topic looking at facts and statistics from a non-partisan perspective about the Medicaid Expansion.
They say it is important to look at this before making a decision to extend access to health insurance to people in our state.
"Instead of having a simply emotional response, let's look at the facts and that we're all understanding and agreeing on the same facts," director Joy Smolnisky said.
The South Dakota Budget and Policy Project says their mission is to promote responsible and equal fiscal policy through research.
