Two people accused of stealing money from a Pierre bank are scheduled to enter guilty pleas next week.
Ismael Ortiz and Alejandra Madrid initially pleaded not guilty to taking about $2,000 from a BankWest branch last November. They are scheduled to change their pleas Wednesday in federal court.
The suspects are accused of stealing money from a teller's station while she was distracted. Both are scheduled to plead guilty to bank larceny, and Ortiz also is scheduled to plead guilty to illegally entering the country after being deported. Other charges are to be dismissed.
