SIOUX FALLS, SD -

LEGOs are on the loose during the Family Fun Carnival in Sioux Falls. There will be LEGO demonstrations, games, a bake sale and raffles from 11 am to 6 pm at the South Dakota Robotics studio located at 49th & Southeastern. The cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children, free for kids under four. Bring a non-perishable food item and get $1 off admission. Proceeds will benefit FIRST LEGO League.

Christmas in July features a magic show, games, prizes and pictures with Summer Santa Claus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at American Legion Post 15 in Sioux Falls. Big Paws Canine and Prairie Dogs Search and Rescue will provide dog demonstrations. 

Strawbale Winery in Renner is hosting a Folk Off Folk Music Festival this weekend. Admission is $20 for both days. In addition to music, there will be food, beverages and shopping vendors. Today's hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The festival is a fundraiser for the Friends of Traditional Music and Nashville Songwriters Association International.

Enjoy 1970's rock music by Mrs. Begley and the Boys during Sounds at the Falls. The free concert begins at 7 p.m. at the Queen Bee Mill at Falls Park.

Tonight's free Moonlight Movie at Fawick Park is Rise of the Guardians, rated PG. The movie begins at dusk. Snacks and refreshments will be sold at the park.

Cool off from the summer heat during the Trent Beach Bash in Trent, SD. Events include free swimming at the Trent pool, plus cardboard boat races, a fishing derby mud volleyball, a poker run and free kids reptile show.

The Youth Art Show & Sale is free-to-view show featuring works by local artists 17 years and younger. The art show runs from  9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Downtown Riverfront Amphitheater between 6th & 8th Streets.

Purchase fresh produce and many other items for sale at the Sioux Falls Farmers Market, across the street from Falls Park.    The hours are from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Vendors are also selling their produce and baked goods at the Sioux Empire Farmers Market at the 8th & Railroad Center on the East Bank of downtown Sioux Falls. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
