SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Kids can dress as a princess or a frog for an afternoon of fun during Party for the Planet at the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls.  The party goes from 1-4 pm and includes zookeeper talks, up-close animal encounters, earth-friendly activities and frog-jumping contests.  Party for the Planet is free with a zoo admission.

Zion Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls is hosting a free Easter Egg Hunt starting at 10 am.  All ages are welcome.  Refreshments will be served following an Easter storytime.  Zion Lutheran is located at 22nd & Spring.  Enter through the east doors.

Red Door Church is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at McKennan Park in Sioux Falls featuring some 8-thousand candy-filled eggs.  The free hunt goes from 9 am to 12:30 pm.  McKennan Park is located at  26th Street and Second Avenue.

Children ages 12 and under are invited to cast a line during the annual Kid's Fishing Derby at Gavins Point National Fish Hatchery in Yankton.  The free derby goes from 10 am to noon.  You're asked to bring your own poles and tackle but bait will be provided.  Each young angler takes home three trout which will be cleaned by volunteers from the Yankton Police Department.

Habitat for Humanity is hosting a ReStorAtion Art Auction from 7-9 pm at the Icon Lounge in downtown Sioux Falls.  Art works will be sold at live and silent auctions with all proceeds benefiting the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.  The auction also includes live music and desserts.

Celebrate spring with the butterflies and fish at the Sertoma Butterfly House in Sioux Falls.  See Paper Kite Butterflies as part of Sea & Sky Saturday activities from 10 am to 2 pm.  The butterfly house is located at Sertoma Park at 53rd & Oxbow.
