SIOUX FALLS, SD -

The Polar Plunge for Special Olympics South Dakota  will be making a splash today Sioux Falls Stadium.  Registration begins at noon with the plunge starting at 2 pm.  Participants are asked to raise a minimum of $100 for Special Olympics in order to take the plunge.

Sioux Falls Lutheran School is hosting a Vendor & Craft Fair from 9 am to 2 pm.  The free fair also includes a bake sale and concessions.  Sioux Falls Lutheran School is located at 308 W. 37th Street, just off Minnesota Avenue.

A Craft Fair/Flea Market/Bake Sale is taking place from 9 am to 4 pm at the American Legion Hall in Wagner, SD.   Items on sale include needlework, jewelry, ceramics, coins, candles collectibles and antiques.

Brandon's Celebration United Methodist Church is hosting a Fundraiser for Borderlands Horse Sanctuary.  The fundraiser goes from 1-4 pm and includes an indoor Easter egg hunt, pictures with the Easter Bunny and a silent auction.  The Borderlands Sanctuary provides a safe haven for old and unwanted horses.

Northern Plains Boxer Rescue is hosting a Meet & Greet at Petco in Sioux Falls from noon to 2 pm.  You can meet several foster dogs longing for a loving, permanent home.

Join in an effort to make the world's longest toy train from scratch during the Sioux Falls Train-A-Palooza.  It's in the Armory and Nordstrom Building at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds from 9 am to 3 pm.  The cost is $5, with lunch included.

Explore South Dakota's prehistoric past during the Dino Extravaganza at Rapid City's Museum of Geology on the campus of the South Dakota School of Mines.  The extravaganza goes from 1-4 pm and includes hunting for elusive dinosaur duckies from prizes, painting your own fossil casts and learning basic field techniques in a dig box.
