SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Get your yard ready for spring and summer at the Lawn & Garden Show in Sioux Falls.  The show has a new location this year: in the Expo Building of the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds.  Today's hours are from 9 am to 7 pm and include a free family barbeque at 5 pm.   Sunday's hours are from 11 am to 5 pm.  Admission is $8.  Free for kids 12 and under.

Sioux Falls Parks & Recreation is hosting Healthy Living Day at Morningside Community Center.  The free event goes from 9 am to noon and includes exercise classes, health screenings plus nutritional and health advice.  Morningside Community Center is located at 2400 South Bahnson, connected to Harvey Dunn Elementary.

The Sioux Falls Catholic Schools presents the 13th annual Shamrock Run.  The 5K Competitive Race begins at 11 am on the track at O'Gorman High School's McEneaney Field. The 2-mile Leprechaun Fun Run/Walk begins at 11:10 am.  Registration is $35.

The Outdoor Adventure Foundation is hosting a Fundraising Banquet from 5 to 10:30 pm at the Sioux Falls Ramada Inn & Suites.  The foundation provides hunting and fishing adventures for kids and young adults facing serious illnesses, like cancer.  The banquet includes door prizes, silent & live auctions plus entertainment by comedienne Ali Christians.  Tickets are $50.

Ireton Christian School presents its 16th annual Bluegrass Gospel Concert.  The performances are at 2:30 & 7 pm at B.J. Haan Auditorium on the campus of Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa.  The concerts feature The Link Family and The Mountain Lake Gospel Singers.  Tickets are $17.

This is the final weekend you can get a close-up look at construction progress on the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls.  A free viewing area is open to the public from 6-8 pm today and 1-4 pm on Sunday. Just go to the area near Meeting Room 14 at the convention center, next door.

The 85th annual Boys Tri-State Basketball Tournament is being played-out in gyms across Sioux Falls and Brandon.  The semi-finals are from 8 am to noon.  The championship round is from 1-5 pm.  Tickets are $5 a game.
