Downtown Sioux Falls is turning a festive shade of green for St. Patrick's Day. It starts with the traditional Painting of the Shamrock at 11:45 am at 9th & Phillips. That's followed by the 35th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade at 2 pm. Each adult taking part in the parade must purchase an official parade button for $3. Proceeds will be donated to Special Olympics.
Enjoy An Evening with Ernie Haase & Signature Sound. The concert is at 6 pm in the O'Gorman High School Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $15, $25 for group seating. Children 5 and under are free.
The Augsburg College Concert Band performs at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. The concert is at 7:40 pm. A free will offering will be taken during the performance.
The Huron Shopping Expo & Flea Market features vendors selling everything from canned and baked goods, antiques and collectibles, jewelry, computers and tablets. The expo & flea market goes from 10 am to 4 pm at the Huron Campus Center located at 333 9th Street SW. Admission is free.
It's another Sea & Sky Saturday at the Sertoma Butterfly House in Sioux Falls. Special activities are held the third Saturday of the month from 10 am to 2 pm. All activities are included in the admission price or a membership. The Butterfly House is located at Sertoma Park at 53rd and Oxbow.
The Dakota Players perform the original musical production Campfire Tales at 7:30 pm in the Mitchell Area Community Theatre. Tickets are $5. The theatre is located at 7th & Main in Mitchell.
The Stampede hockey team takes on the Chicago Steel at the Sioux Falls Arena. They'll drop the puck at 7:05 pm. Tickets prices range from $8.50 to $46.
